Theory: | Folklore |
Explaination: | All of this is part of a brain disorder in which the "abductee" uses images from stories to block out a particular event. |
Argument: | Believers say that those stories of "fairy people" in the old days were actually people seeing aliens. |
Theory: | Sexual Fantasies |
Explaination: | A lot of abduction reports focus on sexual issues and may be unconscious images of their rather personal sexual desires |
Argument: | Abductees claim the experiences were rather forced and that no pleasure was derived from it (With the exception of the Antonio Villas Boas case.) |
Theory: | Mind Control from the CIA |
Explaination: | The CIA is using scenarios implanted in the brain to control the population |
Argument: | In some cases, physical traces are left in the body and the chemical compounds in them can't be identified |
My Argument: | Mind Control is impossible! At least, that's what the CIA told me. |
Theory: | Religious Dreams |
Explaination: | The people are using the idea of the human fascination with light and mix science fiction aliens with spirits |
Argument: | Most abductees are not that religious, despite the fact that some have mentioned spiritual issues used in the abductions |
My Argument: | Who would be thinking of bug-eyed creatures as angels or gods? |
Theory: | It's all a hoax to gain money |
Explaination: | Hey, Quick Cash! Think of the amount of gullible people there are out there that you can get a pretty penny from! |
Argument: | Some abductees don't request to gain money from reporting their encounters, such as Travis Walton
|
My Argument: | God, I hope they're lyin' |
