My Trip to the Little A'Le'Inn

Part 3: The Arrival!

I finally got to the Little A'Le'Inn after driving for 2 or 3 hours. During the ride, I decided to take a few photos of the desert to show how desolate the area was, and I got a BIG SURPRISE when it was developed:

If anyone knows what it is, please tell me!

We stopped at a convenience store called Quick Pick which resembled a convenience store I frequented when I lived in Virginia. We were a little confused as to where to go, so we asked the nice lady at the counter and she told us to go "a little farther" which took about 20 minutes to get there. We saw the sign for the Little A'Le'Inn and parked at the parking lot. I compared the pictures of the Little A'Le'Inn to the pictures in a magazine and found the area to look very similar.

I noticed the Independence Day Time Capsule, which is to be opened in the year 2015 or some time like that.

And then we finally went in...

You may think that this place is crummy or like an old shack if you listen to the guys at UFOMIND.COM, but it is actually more like a small snack bar at a 711 or something like that, only cleaner. This place wasn't filled with drunks and the typical "UFO nut", as you might expect, but it once had a few interesting customers:

We entered and looked around in curiosity. I tried not to look foolish by looking around too much. I saw several alien pictures, as well as autographs from UFO celebrities such as Bob Lazar. I asked a kind man where the gift shop was, and he told me exactly where it was (whoever you are, thank you!). While I was looking around, I saw a worker there, and who else was it but the Joe Travis's wife! As you may know, her name is Pat Travis. I asked her about her beliefs on the UFO phenomenon, and boy did I get a surprise! She says that a strange beam of light that resembled a flashlight once came in through the kitchen of the Little A'Le'Inn. She told me that she believed it was some sort of alien entity that resembles a poltergeist. I was convinced then that the typical "Grey" alien was just pure fantasy, but then she told me that it may be that they are different races. I told her how I got interested in the phenomenon, and she told me that the UFO phenomenon was nothing to fear. I then got to a more "normal" question which was how they made this place. She said "Well, we were drivin' and had our car break down while here, we bought this place and we have been stuck here 11 years since!" and we laughed. She gave out the directions to the infamous Black Mailbox and we said goodbye and went on to the mailbox. Well, it was getting late and my dad knew how dangerous it would be at night. We were searching for the signs that told that there was a restricted area, and we saw billions of free roaming cows. We even bumped into the Medlin Ranch on the way! We finally saw the signs, but something odd happened when I got the film developed, nothing came out clearly! The tape only showed us leaving the area, and that was it! Even the photos were screwy! Things are getting weird. Well, I hope to bring out a My Experiences page with odd things that happened to me in my life. Until then, $%^%$#%$^##$%^$#%$^ (Earth Translation: adios!).
